The Adventure Cycling Trip, Day by Day.

Before entering the Adventure Cycling Trip, Green Horizon Tours’ guide will meet you at your hotels or your dinner time to provide a short instructional briefing.

Day 1: Hue to Lang Co Beach, 80km distance &80km cycling – L.

Today is a classic day of cycling. We will riding from your hotel in Hue and bike following the picturesque and very narrow peninsular road to Thuan An beach then head to Cau Hai Lagoon, where you will see local fishermen and stilt houses on the water. Lunch will be served on the way by a picnic or at a local restaurant. After lunch, we continue biking along coastal road to Lang Co beach, check intothe hotel and free to rest or swim at the beach. You will overnight at Lang Co Beach Resort.

Day 2: Lang Co Beach to Hoi An Ancient Town, 80km distance &80km cycling – B, L,D

After breakfast at your hotel, we will bike the scenic countryside road from your hotel in Lang Co beach uphill to Hai Van Pass(23km & 600m above sea level). Challenging, yet manageable, this ride is full of breathtaking views. After the climbs well-earned descent, we continue cycling along the coast to Da Nang. Lunch will be served on the way by a picnic or at a local restaurant. After lunch, we continue biking along coastal road of Da Nang toward Marble Mountain, where you will see a stone sculpture factory(products from marble and sandstone). After visiting Marble Mountain, you will continue riding through green rice fields and then head to the ancient town of Hoi An. You will stay overnight in Hoi An.

Day 3: Hoi An – My Son Holy Land – Hoi An, 70km distance& 40km cycling – B,L.

Set out for a challenging ride from the outskirts of Hoi An on a quiet back road to the famous Cham Towers of My Son. My Son Holy land-a unique beautiful sanctuary world of the ancien Cham religion, was an imperial city during the Cham dynasty, between the 4th and 15th centuries, and more than 70 towers and temples remain rising majestically from the rice paddies.

We will depart from your hotel. Start cycling to Kim Bong Carpentry village, where the local people live mainly on buiding boat and makingthe ingenious wooden products. After visiting the village, we continue cycling through lush contryside and river coconut palm. Stop seeing the local family make rice paper then cycling on the back road to My Son world heritage to admire the peak culture of the Cham people. Lunch time at a local restaurant in My Son. After lunch, our guide will take some time to explore My Son World Heritage before transfer back to Hoi An. You have the entire afternoon at leisure to relax at hotel or explore Hoi An. You’ll stay overnight in Hoi An.

Day 4: Hoi An to Quang Ngai, 120km distance& 80km cycling – B,L,D.

After breakfast at your hotel and check out. We will take a short transfer out of the city for the ride. Our adventure today begins to cycle through the back roads of the central coast. Away from the main highway we travel along a quiet road hugging the coastline and through sand dune landscapes. We will have lunch in a local restaurant overlooking a remote beach which rarely sees western tourists. After lunch, continue to cycle on the back roads of the coast and cycle to the site of one of the darkest moments of the Vietnam War – the My Lai massacre where 504 locals died in 1968. After learning about Vietnam War at the Massacre Memorial, you will cycle on countryside road through many rice fields - It is harvesting time in this region so there is much activity in the rice fields, giving you an insight into the industrious lives of the local farmers. On arrival in Quang Ngai. You have check into your hotel and relax. You will spent overnight in Quang Ngai.

Day 5: Quang Ngai to Quy Nhon, 176km distance& 80km cycling – B,L,D.

You have breakfast at hotel and then transferring out the the town, the route today will take you along the coastline passing chilli plantations, salt pans, long mountain roads, village laneways and sand dunes. You will stop at Sa Huynh Beach where you can enjoy the cool sea breeze and lunch time. After lunch we have short transfer to Tam Quan Beach where you continue to cycle through a large lagoon with shrimp farms and across fabulously long bridges and coastal village. On arrival Phu My Town where our support vehicle will transfer to Quy Nhon city. You will spent overnight in Quy Nhon.

Day 6: Quy Nhon to Tuy Hoa , 110km distance& 80km cycling – B,L,D.
The highlight of today’s ride is along on a great little road that follows the reunification express railroad. Afeter breakfast, we will transfer at around an hour to Tuy An Beach of Phu Yen Province , where our journey start to bike along a remote but well surfaced road running alongside the railway. The terrain is gently rolling, with beautiful views of the foothills of the highlands. This is the rural Vietnam that all those other tours miss on Highway No1. You have lunch on the way at a local restaurant. After lunch, continue cycling along the beaches to your hotel in Tuy Hoa. Check into your hotel and relax. You will spent overnight in Tuy Hoa.

Day 7: Tuy Hoa to Nha Trang , 120km distance& 80km cycling – B,L.

After breakfast at your hotel, we start cycling from your hotel to Da Lanh beach where we will stop for lunch. After thet we will short transfer to fishing village of Vinh Luong where you continue to bike around 30km more to Nha Trang - is possibly Vietnam’s most famous beach destination. Nha Trang itself is one of the larger cities in Vietnam, and Nha Trang Beach is a massive, miles-long stretch of white sand and clear turquoise waters. The beach is stunning. That, combined with Nha Trang’s popular nightlife scene, makes it a prime destination for both Vietnamese and international travelers. This also makes the beach rather crowded in high season though, so if you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing beach, Nha Trang probably isn’t your thing. On arrival Nha Trang beach, check into your hotel. Our cycling trip is finished.
